I just wanted to share memrise.com with everyone on this forum. It is a great resource for any language, and Chinese is one of the most featured on the site. The site is in beta and a new version will be released soon. The site is set up like an SRS/ game with a leaderboard. It has been one of the most helpful things for me in learning to read and recognize Chinese (I used memrise instead of RTH) and also in building my vocabulary. Everything on it is completely free. You can study character frequency lists, word frequency lists, HSK lists or add your own vocabulary lists. I hope some other people find this website helpful too.

Thanks for sharing :-)
But I prefer to use RTH instead memrise.

Memrise can be used for learning words and not just the meaning of characters too, but a lot of people here might prefer Anki for that. I don't think you have to use one or the other, but I didn't use RTH myself.
Also, although memrise has been a huge help to me, but right now it is a beta site with tons of problems and a 1.0 that is not available to everyone with it's own tons of problems.... So even though I feel eager to recommend it... it needs some more time anyway, and new users at this point would probably just end up really frustrated. Might be a site to check out in a few months.
