Dealing with clashing primitives/keywords

#1
Just wondering how people deal characters that have the same keyword as a primitive.

E.g. "comb" (633) and "and" (887) which has the primitive meaning of comb.

(this is with reference the Traditional book)

I think of 而 as a 'comb' in words that connects two words together like lego in the same sense that two train carriages are connected by their interlocking mechanism.
See image as it's kind of hard to describe in words.

And anywhere else 而 appears I either use 而 as a comb/beard as I have in standard RTK. I don't think you ever need to worry about the 'real' comb conflicting with your stories. I hope my story helps, either way

While I think of comb as a piece of wood used over baby moses' hair before he was set on the basket down a floody ravine. I think I got this story from the site, I'm not sure, can't remember.

Haha I like the image and I get what you mean. Perhaps I will change the image of "and" to a lego piece!
Thanks!
