Aren't those printing flaws in the way of using the wrong font?

What about #1020 "List" 单
He says "sunflower" but it is not a sunflower... A real sunflower's needle doesn't pierce the sun right?

I don't have the RTH books, but you're right that that's not sunflower. RTK was notorious for being loaded with mistakes. I think they finally got most of them out in the 5th edition, but it will probably be a few editions before all the kinks are worked out of RTH. I believe RTH had owl, brain/field, and needle for 単, so you can think of this one as horns, brain/field, and needle.

Nice catch on the fonts, I never noticed that before.

yeah he did say that was a sunflower didn't he.

I'm so glad the RTH anki deck I downloaded has the RTK keyword in its own field, that way I can compare whether or not I should keep the RTH keyword or just revert it back to the RTK if its close enough. I lost my old RTK deck unfortunately so I've started the deck from scratch.
