Has anyone come across any Hanzi frequency tables?

It doesn't have to be extremely "accurate" - I just need some decent method to filter out 5400 Hanzi down to a manageable 2000 or so.

Honestly, that was the first Google result for "Chinese character frequency list" and the second for "Chinese character frequency." Did you even try?

Probably not. Some people are just lazy.......

There's also Patrick Zein's frequency list.

FWIW, I had google'd on "Hanzi frequency tables" and some other variants that didn't yield great results.
