Remembering the Hanzi....

Me, too. I ordered it directly from University of Hawai'i because Amazon's site showed that it was not in stock yet. Hope it comes soon. It's a Christmas present!

UPDATE!

I got the book and am currently on Lesson 8. I'm an advanced learner, so going through it is like a great review. What I like about it is that it gives me much more confidence and assurance when I write characters. Case example: I can never figure out how to write "soap" 皂. Now, with the all the imaginary memory stored up. how can I not forget?

Erixer, three questions:

1. Are you learning the readings as you go along? (You may know many of them already).
2. Are you studying Simplified?
3. Have you ever gone through Reviewing the Kanji? (just out of curiousity - obviously don't need it if you're focused on Chinese only)

I guess Snow White's favorite among the seven dwarves was "Soapy"

holy crap it's been forever since I posted that last thing!

@kfmfe04

1. I know almost all of the readings already. The ones I don't know, well, I just leave them alone. Eventually, though I run into them on the internet, and the pronunciation just stays with me.
2. Doing traditional
3. Although I own Book 1 and the Kana book, I never went through them (loaned them out to a friend now, they are getting good use)

once again, sorry about the super late reply! as of now I'm finishing up the plots portion. It's been quite enjoyable.
