Should 嗅 be written with 大 (big) or 犬 (dog)?
Kanji Koohii uses 犬, but in edition 6 of Remembering the Kanji it is 大.
RK1-Supplement states the following:
The only difference between the old and simplified forms is the
addition of a single dot transforming our St. Bernard dog into a
little chihuahua.
So 犬 is the old version and 大 the new?
Wiktionary has 2 entries:
https://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/嗅
https://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/口臭
So 臭 doesn't even exist with 口 in a single Kanji?
What is better to use: 嗅 with 犬 or 嗅 with 大?
