I was trying to find a guide on improving my French r pronunciation an came across this guide http://www.french-linguistics.co.uk/pronunciation/. Has anyone seen something similar for Japanese. If you don't have time to take a look at the site, it goes into detail about mouth movement, tongue movement, and more. Every pronunciation guide I've seen for Japanese simply tells you to make "X" sound in English to create a sound in Japanese (with the exception of る、ら、り、れ,ろ which I can find plenty of help on).
I'm especially having difficult with the Japanese お sound. I've read that its supposed to be a pure vowel sound, unlike the English "o" which has a "w" like sound, but when I try to pronounce it, especially when attached to a consonant sound, it sounds off to me. But I'm looking for help with more than that one sound. I think something that goes into detail about moth, tongue, etc... movement would be really helpful in making me sound less foreign.
