Problem with Anki deck order

#1
Hello everyone.

So I have a deck on Anki that I like, but there's one problem: the order is backwards. The deck has a total of 33 tags (the tags are chapters and span 06 to 39), the chapters are ordered by difficulty and advancement, therefore making it problematic that the deck goes from the tag titled "Chapter 39" and BACKWARDS. This means that the last cards I'll discover are the cards from the first chapters...

How can this be solved? How can I make it so that the deck shows new cards and so on in order of the tags (making the order of the deck follow the alphabetic order of the tags; going from chapter 06 to 39, not vice versa)?

There is a way to do this. It's been a while since I've done it so you might want to make a backup copy of you anki database just in case this does something unexpected. I think all you have to do is sort your cards by 'due' in the browser. Your already studied cards will have a date for their due value. Your new cards will have a number indicating it's place in the queue. Make sure low numbers are at the bottom and high numbers at the top. Select the new cards and choose edit > reposition.

Just sort them in the browser, suspend everything, then manually unsuspend the ones you want to activate.

Set new cards/day = 9999 and the ones you unsuspend will automatically be added to the 'new' queue. I do this with all my decks.
