You got that Kruzer?

The product description for that drink is absolutely terrifying. It reads like it could be a parody on an episode of South Park or something similar. I liked the part about living life on the edge, I wonder if they are aware of how apt this statement is.

Congratulations. 2000 kanji in three weeks is pretty amazing as far as I am concerned. I think that's about the same amount of time it took me to rote learn Japanese meanings+readings+stroke order for all 80 grade 1 kanji. I think your RTK reviews are going to be painful for a while but if you stick with it then pretty much the worst will be over and you can get stuck into actually learning Japanese with a real headstart.

Congratulations on getting through RTK so quickly! I wish I had the motivation to study the things I wanted to learn when I was your age.
Me too. At 13, the idea of setting a goal that was more than a day away and following it through as crazy talk. Learning over 2000 kanji in under a month...you gotta be joking.

Don't even worry about the end goal just meet the quota you set for today. Every day is a brand new day, a fresh start.

I understand what you are saying, but you have to keep the end goal in mind or you might end up wasting your time.

I haven't done it either, but here are another few links for you. The second link has some nice anki decks and spreadsheets depending on how you want to study it.

Thanks. But I don't really know how to decide how I want to study. But I will figure it out, probably. But tips are still welcome!

Hi people,

In a week I'll become 14 years old, and by happenstance I have a Japanese lesson on that day. So I have been wondering how I will announce to my teacher that I became 14 years old in Japanese. Can anyone help me with preparing a sentence for my birthday? Something that translates like: I became 14 this year!

Thanks to you in advance.

今日(きょう)は私(わたし)/僕(ぼく)の誕生日(たんじょうび)です。今(いま)十四歳(じゅうよんさい)です。
It's my birthday today. Now I'm 14 years old.
