I've made a similar thread before but still I don't understand how to do this, so sorry if I put a similar question a second time!

I want to add a bunch of new words to my vocabulary deck, and I want to redistribute them in a range of days, and I can do this easily with the "load balancer" plug-in.

What I don't know how to do is, when those cards pop up in review, I want Anki to show me something like "repeat 0 days - normal 15 days - easy 30 days". In other word is useless to redistribuite 1000 cards in the interval of a month if, when I review them for the first time after the learning phase, I'm offered with the option to review them after 4 days.

I am not sure I've made this clear... I hope so ._.

I'm not familiar with your plug-in, but normally if you want 15 days/30 days on the first review, you need:
- 7 days on the learning phase (and then the 100% interval modifier turns that into 14 days on your first review), that's in your deck options, new cards, graduating interval: input 7 days
- and then to get the 30 days, you need to go to deck options, reviews, easy bonus, and you should set that to 200%

At least in theory.

EratiK thank you very much! The fact is that the "load balancer" plugin does this:



I can not put "7 days" on the learning phase, and even if I put minimum = 7 and maximum = 15 on "graduating interval", it modifies only the first interval. When those cards will pop up in their first review, they will still consider the now gray value circled in red... so even if I cannot modify it, it still counts as the real first review interval... those interval values circled in blue are really only to spread cards reviews but the interval is still 1 day.

So I suppose I must uninstall the plugin, modify those values in red and then reinstall the plugin.

I think the load balancer intended to smooth out daily reviews not hide away easy cards. My assumption was that to do what you want you just enter the card browser, highlight the new cards, click "edit" --> "reschedule", tick "place in review queue with interval between" and then input the desired numbers. Can't remember if I've ever actually tested it or not though.

Edit: Looking at your ninja post it seems like I was wrong.

Edit: I just noticed Splatted mentioned reschedule. But yes, it does work. The downside is that if you enter a (e.g. 30 day interval), anki won't show you until 30 days later so you have to plan in advance. It worked great for adding 1,000s of sentences that I didn't want to start out on a 1 day interval.

Or if you want to avoid messing with your interval % you could probably set learning intervals ("steps (in minutes)") of 21600 and 43200. Not sure if anki is set up to handle those numbers though.

Edit: That should have been one step of 21600 and a graduating interval of 30 days.
