I've been living in Japan for almost 3 years, and now, after 3 months of 就活 I got a job offer!
Any advices?

I'm about to graduate and I have the choice of starting either in october or april, and this is making me kind of anxious. I am eager to start, but then again, this might be one of my last changes to spend time with my family before starting to work, specially here, in japan, from where I'm not. Japanese people live in Japan and can visit the family as often as they want, but for a foreigner living 20+ hours and many euros from the home country is rather difficult... :p

If the company has other foreign employees, then they will generally be more understanding of you wanting to see your family, if not the companies tend to be less accommodating.

I think I'm gonna be the only foreigner, or one of the very few.

Well, I have both options, I think I will opt by April, it will be my first anniversary/Christmas/new year in 3 years. all my family and friends say that time to work will not be missing from now on, but that time to enjoy life like in vacations will.

I was asked what I was going to do during that time, and I said I'd study the company and the field I', gonna work with. Besides I want to take some kind of mini courses (like those that last some hours) and also volunteering (kennel). I'm gonna have a 6 month 研修 before starting to work, so hopefully I can get some material to study beforehand (though I doubt it, but I'll pick up some book on the subject anyway).

I'm eager to start, don't get me wrong, but like I said, its my last opportunity to enjoy life and vacations with my family in my home country as a "kid", so I think I'll take it.

Since April is the normal new hire starting date I don't think they will think much of it.

No, I'm very excited but worried that they won't like me for starting in april! I tend to overthink and think of all possibilities : p It's my first job and I'm kinda looking forward to it.
