Just wondering if anyone else is taking the JLPT in Osaka this July. As I'm sure there are several locations, we'll have to wait to know exactly where we've been assigned, but it'd be fun to get lunch or an お疲れ beer when it's finished.
After taking many years off formal study, I'm finally going for N1. Anyone else a fellow Kansai resident?

Well, no one replied so I guess the answer was no, but for the record, I'll be taking it at Momoyama Gakuin University in Izumi, Osaka. It's near Costco so I guess I'll be making a trip there too while I'm at it. If anyone else is in the area, let me know!

Thanks! Preliminary checking via the answers on the Chinese sites look promising. I don't think my score will be anything to brag about but I seem to have comfortably passed at least the vocab section. I didn't do any outright guessing on the reading so that should be OK too, though the answers aren't up yet. Anyway, pretty happy so far!

Oh I'm glad to hear that. Congratulations so far! We'll have to throw a cyber-party when you have definitely passed!

I didn't see this thread til now. But I too did it in Kansai (Wakayama). Felt pretty good coming out of it. Hopefully I've improved on last year's score.
