There is a new online game for people who would like to practice their narrative skills (and relate to others in Japanese).
When I say "new" I think it really is. I think this game was only invented the day before yesterday!
It is a variation on the well-known word-chain game, Shiritori, called Horabanashi Shiritori - Tall Tale Shiritori.
Essentially you have two random nouns (like ice cream and moat) and you have to "explain the connection" between them in any way you can imagine. In Japanese, of course.
When you're done you contribute a noun of your own - say, television, so the next player has moat and television to work with.
