Pakapa is the NSFW home of cam girl Pikachuxxx. Mindfud has a suspiciously similar writing style to AJATT. These sites are hosted on the AJATT dedicated server, use the same theme as AJATT, as well as borrow code from each other.

Khatz level of involvement with these sites can be debated, but he is most certainly involved to some extent.

Here is where we began discussing Mindfud and Pakapa.

I'm Sam's ex-roomate. And while I was living in Tokyo Khatz and I played board games together occasionally.

Interestingly, I just got in my email this morning a solicitation from Khatz for a new round of Neutrino that is accepting applicants. Maybe he has them set up in an auto-mailer to go out periodically, but its the first thing that I have gotten from him in a long time.

Back in KKenya we (relatives) are also wondering what happened to our Khatzumoto. He stopped communicating with us more than two years back. I have been following this thread for a while now.Whould tkyosam or anyone close to him in real life kindly confirm that he is alive and well.

"our Khatzumoto".....Why do you use his nickname when he only acquired it after going to college in the US? You're really a relative from Kenya?

His family did affectionately call him Kats from when he was little, though.

So is Khatz missing? Or does he just not contact his family often?

I'm an uncle to Khatzumoto (Katyana Katesha Rogo Manduli aka Kats ). We (entire family) are worried about his whereabout. He moved from his last known physical address in Japan over two years back without alerting any member of his family (mother, sisters uncles). Email address and telephone numbers changed. Our effort to physically search for him in Tokyo , Japan has not been successful. Anyone with information on how we can find him, please kindly help.

Have you tried contacting/talked to his (ex?)wife, Sarah? She filed for divorce early 2014, less than two years ago, and has a Linkedin profile through which you could presumably get in touch with her.

Last time I talked to him he spoke English, Mandarin, Cantonese and Korean fluently.  He doesn't need to brag or advertise that he speaks a lot of languages any more.

(for the majority of the people here) Khatz is not your friend. Khatz is a person who was running an online business.

If you have been scammed by Khatz, I honestly wish you the best of luck in finding him so as to press chargers. As members of the online Japanese learning community, the best we can do is warn people to not sign up for paid AJATT services from now on in order to avoid future loss of money. I think that the curiosity has gone far enough, and as much info about it has been found within reasonable limits (actually, a bit beyond that, but YMMV).

If anyone has some news of Khatz returning or offering to honour the fo shizzle guarantee, please PM me and I'll reopen this thread. Until then, I think that the need for doxxing has gone far enough.

Please PM geoadha if you have information on Katz's whereabouts. Also, if anyone here is in the AJATT+ community or anything like it, perhaps they'd want to share this information with the people who asked for refunds but were unable to get them.

@geoadha You said you are "desperately searching for Kats." You also said that you physically searched for him in Tokyo. Have you filed a missing persons report to the police? I think that might be the next step if you haven't done that already. Good luck.
