I got this idea off of Japaneselevelup.com, but i thought it would be great here also, so let's everyone here put down some specific goals they want to achieve in their Japanese studies by the end of the month. Then at the end of the month,Come back to this post, and leave a reply to your original comment. Put what you were able to accomplish of these goals. If you don’t come back and leave a reply, it will be assumed you didn’t meet your goals for the month. Yes, pressure. But sometimes a little positive pressure can be a good thing. Also i think it would be cool to post whatever progress(daily, weekly, monthly, etc) we made on our social media pages(preferably twitter), so that way there is even more accountability My Twitter name is cushel35 Here are my goals:1.Do at least 10 reps daily from my Kanji, and my sentence deck of Anki. 2.Finish Tofugu’s 500 sentences. (see tofugu.com for more details). 3.Translate at least 1 page of manga daily. 4.Read Mobile Suit Gundam 001 completely. So that’s it! Wish me luck! Let's help each other out! Minnasan Ganbatte!!!

I have goals for 2015 but I'm not breaking them down on a month to month basis because that (for me) would be kind of hard.
But for the record, my one Japanese goal for 2015:
-Complete all of the intermediate and advanced reading passages in "A Japanese Reader: Graded Lessons In The Modern Language" by Roy Miller.
I've finished all the elementary readings and I'm almost done the third intermediate one.
The readings in Lessons 31 to 75, according to the jacket, "offer...a wide variety of readings covering the most important areas of Japanese life and culture (customs, art, religion, literature, political science, economics, philosophy, etc.) and include the chief types and styles of the modern written language (newspaper, fiction, belles-lettres, etc.)...."
I like it because it is really challenging (for me anyway). We'll see if I can read them all by the end of 2015.

Alright Man, cool ganbatte!
Thanks! If/when I reach the end of the final reading passage "Liberalization Plans In Foreign Trade And Exchange" I'll break out the champagne.
