Hi,
I will be taking the JLPT n1 this December and I'm a bit worried about the reading comprehension part after having looked at old tests/模擬試験.
Pretty much all of the reading I've done so far has been novels, but their style is pretty much the opposite of the 読解 part.
The novels I've read used a wide range and words to describe vividly but were mostly straight forward (exception was 砂の女) and the grammar is easy to understand.
The 読解 on the other hand mostly used easy vocabulary but crams a lot of different opinions, unclear descriptions etc. into a small text to make it difficult to extract information.
What I'm looking for right now is ready available reading material (innocent book, net articles, etc.) that has a similar writing style to the 読解 parts. Started reading Wikipedia for that purpose but the high number of names and technical terms make it a bit slow.
good luck to the ones of you who are taking the test as well!
