I know there are books with vocab geared towards those who want to do business in Japanese, and those kinds of things, but I'd like to hear how some of you guys may have done it (or would do it). I recently got a job at a company that doesn't yet work with Japanese companies, but is something which seems likely to happen further down the road. The company is rather small (25-50 employees by end of year), so I definitely could be their go-to guy when it comes to interacting with these potential clients. As it hasn't happened yet I can prepare accordingly. If it helps formulate an answer I think it'd be important to mention the business I work for creates business software that works within Salesforce.

I don't work in a Japanese workplace or anything, but I figured being able to speak professionally in the language is a nice skill to have, so I got the Android version of this book on how to speak professionally made for new 社会人:
Android version (with screenshots):

Paper version:

So far it's been really helpful in showing how to translate phrases I normally use into something more professional. There are probably other helpful books out there for new shakaijin which might be useful, in addition to the books meant for language learners.
