If you're looking to download japanese novels and books online then go to JPDDL.com, go to the manga section or whatever and they have just about everything in existence

If you search this site for "innocent books", you may or may not find something along the lines of what you're talking about. But I wouldn't know anything about that.

You can download a fair bit of RAW manga off of Blue Flor & Raw Depot's RawManga XDCC bot.
Their IRC info is here: http://rawdistro.net/irc-guide/
Packlist is here: http://rawdistro.net/packlist/

NyaaTorrents also has tons of RAW manga (not all of it is still seeded though). Generally, just try searching using the title of the manga written in Japanese script, or sometimes the romaji or English title. You can also limit your results to just RAW manga, but occasionally there's some RAW manga that isn't tagged as such.

AnimeBytes also has some RAW manga, but not really a ton. Still, it's pretty convenient 'cause you get both the scanlated (or simply scanned) English-translated manga + RAW manga torrents grouped together. It's a private tracker though.

rutracker, a private Russian tracker, has a torrent called something like "Approx. 5200 Japanese Books", of which about 30% are light novels. Google Translate the site to register. Also, despite being a private tracker, you don't need to maintain any particular ratio to be able to download, and almost everything stays seeded. There's tons of great stuff on rutracker that is pretty hard to find elsewhere, and you can usually get by searching for everything in English.

There are also lots of DDL sites, but links often get removed unfortunately. Generally, you can just google the Japanese name of the manga or light novel you're looking for + "zip", "rar", "dl", "raw", "ダウンロード, etc., e.g. "ミミズクと夜の王 zip".

*cough*.
I used to buy them at http://www.yesasia.com/global/en/home.html , which had a pretty wide collection of light novels for fairly decent prices.

That being said...
