Im watching "Arrow", but lately the episodes have been going downhill so I'm probably gonna stop watching it soon.
For Jdrama, i'm watching Trick.

English: Last series I watched was Orphan Black, which I will probably start watching again in April. My son and I tried to stay tuned in to Walking Dead's new season, but we both lost interest. I did marathon ORANGE IS THE NEW BLACK several months ago, and really liked it. I'd like to watch HOUSE OF CARDS at some point.

Japanese: 名探偵コナン (Up to episode 67 of 756!), 流星ワゴン、DOCTORS, はじめてのおつかい, and whatever other crap comes up on TV Japan. I also want to re-watch ラストシンデレラ, which I found really endearing.

Trick (for the nth time)

But if I were exiled to a deserted island with a TV and could only bring one show, I'd choose The Wire.

And it would never get old.

"Battlestar Galactica" (2004 remake) for at least the 3rd time.
"Once Upon A Time" (on and off)
"Elementary"
"South Park"
"Mitsudomoe" (brilliant tongue-in-cheek anime)
"Detective Conan" (only about episode #172 out of a total of 760+)
"Breaking Bad" (with lots of space between episodes, since I find the writing only so-so after watching so many crime series over the course of decades. Still wondering what all the hype is really about, although I've always enjoyed watching Bryan Cranston's acting)
"Fairy Tail" (anime, still season 1, which has about 175 episodes)
"The Twilight Zone" (the very first incarnation, which started in 1959 in B&W. Kind of interesting to see the acting and clothing style of over half a century ago)
"Kamisama Kiss" (anime, season 2)

I've been watching 最高の離婚. For how snobby I am about how I would never watch a soap-opera, this one's not so bad. It seems like only 25% of it is ridiculous soliloquies.

Bitter Blood
Mother
日常
EastEnders ( a soap opera)

I'm pretty sure I do not associate soap opera with soliloquies. I don't think I've ever seen anyone speaking to themselves in EastEnders (or any other soap for that matter). Soaps are melodramatic and miserable versions of real life. They're like real life if your town was where they gave all the ex convicts and mental hospital patients free homes. You don't do soliloquies in real life.

just finished "the good wife"! AWESOME!

Now:

(still with)
breaking bad (it kind of makes me feel depressed...the usage of colors, like the predominance of yellow in some scenes, makes my cortisol levels rise...)

Lost (same as above, too "dark" settings, its hard for me to keep up because the colors mess me up...!)

Suits (gotta love lawyers!!)
CSI Cyber
Futurama (currently in the last season)

Bumping this thread. Does anyone know of any good (preferably ongoing) japanese sci fi series (not anime), if there are any?

I watched all of Breaking Bad in Japanese on Hulu. My favourite line was from Tuco when he tried the blue meth:「ガツンと効くぞ!」Another good word that was new to me was「恨みっこなし」.

I don't really know much about TV shows, but there's a dub of House of Cards on Hulu that I'm going to give a go next.

Not quite scifi (more modern fantasy), but 流星ワゴン was pretty good.

Thanks for the recommendations guys! 流星ワゴン does look interesting, I'll look into that. About Hulu, is it as good as it sounds? Maybe I should just stop randomly look for japanese shows and just subscribe there instead?

I've only watched dubbed American shows/movies on there, since Japanese ones tend to be more of a gamble. You'd need a VPN set up to watch it outside Japan though. Chrome has some extensions that can supposedly achieve the same thing. If you can get that set up, http://gyao.yahoo.co.jp/ would be a good option, since it's free. Netflix is also starting in Japan soon.

Thanks for yet another good site! I am in japan right now though so I suppose I could set that up. I did manage to get japanese amazon to work when I was home in sweden though thanks to some googling.
