Tried to get it. Apparently only people in Japan can download it. Oh well...

So even after installing the app following the link above and registering a LINE account, it says that I can't use the LINE MANGA app in my country :-( Any way around that?

Darn, so even if I download it I likely won't be able to use it?

I had the GPS off when I opened it and it said it couldn't confirm I was in Japan. When I turned it on, it worked. There are probably ways to spoof your location, but you still need to login with a LINE account, and that requires confirmation using a code sent via SMS to what I assume has to be a Japanese number.
I know there are complicated publishing contracts and what not, but it's kind of stupid that things are still so limited like this in 2014. I'm more likely to buy from the massive selection of ¥105 manga in Book Off here, but in the UK I probably would've bought a lot of the ¥400 ones they have on LINE Manga.

You can spoof the GPS using the developer options, but the SMS thing and possibly even the credit card are going to trip most people up.
EDIT: You can get a lot of manga from Amazon Japan for the kindle.

What about if you use a VPN?
Edit: Oh, never mind. It seems that's not the problem, a Japanese phone number is.
