Is Jim Breens Dictionary broken?

#1
I figure it must not be because I can't find anything online that suggests the site would be down, and if it was I'd expect to see lots of people complaining or asking about it. But I've been completely unable to access the site for the last week or two, presumably its the same for everyone else?

Are there any other resources around for looking up lots of words at once? I have a list of words in notepad and I can't find anywhere good to copy and paste them into ..

Works for me, even in Chrome, but Chrome displays kanji in a Chinese font so I'd start by using a different browser anyway.

How about http://www.edrdg.org/cgi-bin/wwwjdic/wwwjdic?1C ?

That link works perfectly!

I'd tried a different browser but that didn't work either. Doesn't load on any other computer I have in the house either. Can only think that my ISP must be having problems with that path somehow ... though I've noticed no other problems at all.

All the links are up for me, but if it's ever down, you can just use a site which has the same dictionary like http://www.tangorin.com or http://www.jisho.org.

Yeah but I like to use this page:

http://www.edrdg.org/cgi-bin/wwwjdic/wwwjdic?9T

When I'm copying tons of stuff into there. I couldn't find anything similar on jisho.

But never mind, with that new link I'm all set, thanks guys!

The server at http://www.csse.monash.edu.au/~jwb/cgi-b...dic.cgi?1C was in the process of being decommissioned, which I guess has been completed. Using http://wwwjdic.org/ should redirect you to the closest mirror.
