Just out of curiosity so I have some basis before I bite more than I can chew.
How many did/do you do per day? Did you ever have to tone it down a bit?

I remember when I did RTK1 I set a target to knock it out in a summer, so I think it was like 25 a day or something. It would take awhile because I was also writing each one out a dozen or more times (which is somewhat anti-Heisig honestly).
I know that's not NEARLY the hardest-core regimen around these parts though.

You can always slow down if the reviews start to pile up on you or speed up if you feel you have more time to spend.
I aimed for 100 per day, but ended up finishing in just about 30 days, which would average like 70. But I had nothing to do and spend like 5-6 hours a day reviewing. It's perfectly fine and probably has a greater chance of not giving up if you just go at 30 or so.

Hmm,interesting.
I'll have a lot free time on the latter half of this year since I'm finishing high school in a few weeks, and I gotta wait 'til next year to apply to college.
I'll have like, the entire day available for studying Kanji. Guess something like 30 seems feasible enough.
Maybe even more?

20 a day is a good pace if you want to have most of them learned by the time you finish the book. 50 a day is a good pace if you already finished the book once, however at that pace half of them will not be in your long-term memory by the time you finish the book, so you'll have to do reviews for a month or two just to be sure.

Yeah and if you will take a quicker pace with it, be advised that the number of daily reviews may begin to shock you. It's temporary though, so tough through it.

I set the low bar at 10, meaning I would do 10 no matter what, short of bad health conditions or just overwhelming amounts of other stuff. But between 20-30 a day gives you a nice pace to get stuff done quickly without it piling up too much

I have an average memory. I did 15 new kanji a day (although via grade order, not RTK). I think I spent around 30 min a day in the beginning but closer to 90 min a day near the very end.

10 is definitely a good minimum goal, although a better pace will be set with about 20 a day (I think about 4 months?)

I'm doing one lesson every 2 days, and using this website for SRS reviewing every evening.

I'm shooting for 100 per week. Generally this means 20 per weekday (often a few more or less to line up with the lessons and/or primitive groupings), with no new kanji (just reviews) on weekends. But my recall rate on reviews so far has been pretty good (~85%), so I'm thinking about bumping it up to 25 per day.
