Hey All,
I don't know if this is old news, but I just stumbled upon a Japanese Coursera clone called Gacco. It seems that they put a lot of effort into making a slick interface. There's only one course available right now but their lecture interface is *awesome*. They link to youtube videos and as the speaker gives his lecture the subtitles scroll by (exact!) on the right, in time. If you don't understand something, you can click the subtitle and it will jump back to that part of the lecture.
This seems like a great intermediate/advanced learner's resource, especially if you're the more bookish 独学 kind of student that doesn't get as much listening practice as you'd like.
Anyway, the site is here: http://www.gacco.org
