I am going to start learning Arabic and publish the results on my blog. Has anyone on here learnt Arabic, and if they have could they reccomend any good books?

When it comes to food i would highly recommend hummus, waraq i'nab, beryani, and koosa mahshi. But seriously, lebanon is your best choice.

There is a world of a difference between fus'ha and a dialect so watch out for that. The reading is phonic like in English but it's a giant pain in the ass. Most people would tell you to learn the Egypt dialect but if you ask me Lebanon is the best country. It's very beautiful and the people are gorgeous. When it comes to food i would highly recommend hummus, waraq i'nab, beryani, and koosa mahshi. But seriously, lebanon is your best choice.
