I found what I wanted - bilingual book with texts and vocab but......I noticed that it is for native japanese who are learning english so is it sutable for me or?

There is also from this series, Basic 2400, Daily 1500 and the Core 1800

EDIT: at closer look I see that there is no readings on the vocabulary since it is for native speakers Sad. So is there similar book but other way around?

Im not into the novels too much literature style, I prefer something more practical and daily life.

There's a book in that series called Read Real Japanese Essays, also there was a book on newspaper reading for intermediates, but I can't remember what it was called at the moment.

"Breaking into Japanese Literature" (by Gilles Murray, ed. Kodansha) has furigana. It also has vocabulary on each page, and you can download the stories in audiobook form. The stories are from the early 1900's though, and your Japanese needs to be good already, so keep that in mind!
