Hopefully this time is third time lucky, got to 1500 before when I had to stop because of a new job. Up to 550 again now and proving much easier ad most of the groundwork has already been done. I know which ones I found difficult before so know where I have to pay special attention, and most of the old stories are still there somewhere!
Hopefully I can make it all the way this time!

Doing it for the second time I'm now at 775 (doing 25 a day).
Last time I was so close to the end (at ~1800) but I needed to stop because university killed me.
Now to the +1000!

It took me about a month and a half of inconsistent studying to get to 508 tonight, aaahhhh finally!! It feels like it's taking forever though... but I'll be damned if I won't play Final Fantasy VII in Japanese next year.

541 Kanji here. Some of the radicals are a pain, such as "just so" or "beg", even tho they should be easy.
I set ANKI to not perform any action on leeches. 初 also gave me trouble, even tho I found the LOTR story damn nice. I then investigated what the problem was and realized that garment to the left is cloak. Oh man.

Started eight days ago and I'm halfway through. After I hit the end, I'll keep reviewing for a while, to make sure everything sticks.

I´m at 1412, I´m doing 100 kanjis a day so the end is SO CLOSE.
Really, I can´t wait to prove everyone who thought I couldn´t do it wrong.

In my humble opinion. You should use 2 decks:
1. First deck you learn normally.
2. Second deck is a first deck with same settings but you add this deck after the first about 2 days or so. This is considered Review-Deck
Actually I use first deck on my lap and second deck on my phone so I can learn anywhere. Use this tip and you will see the power of repetition.

After 25 days I'm at 475. At my current pace I'll pass the 500 mark this Saturday. I'm doing around 20 a day and it's going well. I get around 50 reviews a day, plus the new kanji, and fail 2 or 3.
However, it's time-consuming, and when Part 3 starts and I have to make up my own stories I'm afraid the pace might slow down drastically. In fact I'm starting to burn out. Do you have any tips on how to tackle Part 3? I feel like I might quit and just keep doing my reviews everyday.
Maybe it's my way of studying? I fold a piece of paper so I have four sides. On one side, I write each kanji, its keyword, its primitives and its story. Then, I copy the keywords into the other three sides, and I produce the kanji. After that, I add them to koohii and review them.
As I said it's been working well but I fear I might not be able to keep it up. I wonder if you guys have any suggestions...
P.S.: I saw some discussion about whether RTK is ordered in a practical way. I think this isn't an issue because you're meant to finish RTK quite fast. But if you do study with other materials whilst also doing Heisig, you're bound to learn the basic stuff (私、今、行く。。。)without having to think much about it. At least it's been this way for me. I'm also doing Basic Kanji Book, though, cos that's what my tutor uses.

Thanks for your suggestions!
As predicted, I finished Part 2 yesterday. With a little bit of help from this site, the first 6 kanji of Part 3 haven't been too difficult - but I wonder whether my stories will prove to be as memorable as Heisig's...
For now it looks like I'm not going to drop out, but I don't know if I'll be able to continue taking 20 kanji a day...

If it ever feels like 20 is too much, dropping it down to 10 is much easier to manage. It will take twice as long while you are doing such a schedule, but it also barely feels like you are doing anything so the reviews generally stay manageable and you don't feel like burning out. I might recommend doing more at times if you feel motivated, but 10 is good for that bare minimum mark that you can get yourself to do no matter what. I still use 10 as a sort of "time to take a break" point when I am studying more than that in one day

Yeah, 10 feels good, doesn't it! Sometimes with lessons that are 30 kanji long, I've started with 20 kanji and left the other 10 for the next day, and I zoom through them. The only problem really is the time it takes to write all the kanji and their stories down so I remember them - after that the reviewing goes well (lately I'm up to 4 wrong a day, but that's decent enough.)
However, I think Heisig is more beneficial if you finish it quickly. That way you can move on to other things and not learning the readings doesn't become a hinderance. If I did 10 a day I'd be done in September, though, which doesn't seem too bad. Maybe I can try doing 15 until I'm at 1000 kanji and then drop to 10 if I'm too tired?
Anyway, I'm doing lesson 21 right now and it's more fun that I expected! Making your own stories up is like writing mini-poems. I love it!

You could do 15 and just split it up throughout the day, 5 at each meal, or something like that
