Hey, I wanted to ask why RTK 2 isn't popular?
Because let's say someone who did RTK 2 could learn new vocabulary so much faster then one who didn't done it. Also he could read Japanese names, towns etc.
But why like no one here recommend it? If you compare RTK 1 to 2 then 2 is like 10 times more helpful, isn't it? And RTK one was designed to do RTK 2, so why no one recommends it?
It's true you can learn the readings while learning vocabulary, but it will not work for all of them, and the more rare a kanji is the longer it takes. With RTK 2 done you would know all of them, but would have to spent a few month. But after these month you would learn pretty fast.
It's like learning hiragana from romaji vocabulary. And I think no one did or does this, because it isn't effective.
With the kanji it should be almost the same, only that you have to learn a lot more.
I want to hear some opinions about what you think about it. Why you stopped half way with RTK etc.
And maybe someone who did RTK 2 and what benefits he has or how fast he actually can learn vocabulary.
Im asking this because I intend to do RTK 2 after I finished 1. Maybe in a few month's I could tell you what real benefits RTK 2 gives someone. And compare it to it where I learnd my vocabulary without it.
