Hey everyone, I'm wondering what 3DS games (US region) are out there that also have Japanese voice/subtitles. I know that Pokemon X/Y and Bravely Default have both (and I own both), are there any others?

The 3DS can play DS games, right? I think there was a list of voiced DS games in one of the threads here. I'll go search for it when I'm at my computer (currently using my phone). If DS games count, I recommend 二の国. It has a lot of voiced parts, and furigana, also Studio Ghibli helped to make it, which is good if you like their films.

Yea, the old DS games still work on the 3DS. I actually have TLoZ Phantom Hourglass and Tales of Innocence in Japanese. So yea, looking for 3DS games specifically. Thanks though

I'm almost certain that those are the only two games that have both, so if you want Japanese, you'll either need a Japanese 3DS or some 'other' way to play them.

If you're not up for that, then I don't know; I'm hoping that more games are released with the Japanese scripts available, since the 3DS carts usually aren't filled to anywhere near capacity.

DS games are still region free on the 3DS, despite 3DS games being region locked. So for Japanese, the whole DS library is at your fingertips.

Except for 'DSi Enhanced' games. That's when Nintendo started (re?)introducing region locking.
