How many total flash cards have you looked at?

#26
Total: 472392 reviews
Average for days studied: 626.5 reviews/day
If you studied every day: 569.1 reviews/day

There's a similar thread somewhere where people would send their graphs. If I remember correctly, some were over 1M ;P

Those stats of yours are impressive. In the last 12 months I have something like 750 reviews a day, and I've had tons of time to do cards (I haven't been working full time a while, too complicated to explain whole situation) and its not easy keeping up that kind of pace. If you are working full time its more or less impossible I think.

That said, I found when I've been able to add 100 cards a day and do 1000 reviews a day and maintain that pace, it really does make a massive difference and you can see results very very quickly. I've been studying both Chinese and Japanese more or less equally hard too, I wonder how my Japanese would be these days if I could have focused on that only.

Days studied: 99% (920 of 923)
Total: 306980 reviews
Average for days studied: 333.7 reviews/day
If you studied every day: 332.6 reviews/day

I think it's also worth noting retention rates as a low rate can inflate reviews/day (unless I'm mistaken). I'm at 90% and 85% for young/mature cards respectively.

I honestly don't know how I'm missing 3 days, though. I've also recently spent a lot of time on Skritter for Chinese, so haven't been adding as much to my Japanese decks.

Haha, its a good point really. If I wanted to keep doing 100 cards a day, I'd probably need to find at least 50 new words a day (assuming i add a sentence too for each one) and that isn't that easy anymore. Its quite time consuming in itself and requires a lot of reading to find that many.

Which is the best way for things to be I think. It lets Anki effectively die a natural death once you don't need it anymore.

I've been using Skritter since December of 2012 solely for production. Stats:

401 days studied, 214.8 hours
90,339 character writings
46,662 word writings
2,169 characters learned
6,671 word writings learned

I'm abandoning Skritter and going back to an Anki recognition-only deck, and leaning more on learning words in context from here on out. Skritter is expensive, and I feel like I have a good foundation in the 常用漢字 now. Plus it consumes too much time every day that I would rather spend on reading and listening.
