Inputting kanji

#1
Is there any instructions on the forum on how to write the kanji? It tells you how to write the kana script, but I need assistance with inputting the kanji?

I've looked around the site, but can't find anything on inputting kanji.

You need to install the IME (input method editor) which comes with Windows install disk, Just do a help search if you use Windows. Not sure how Linux or Mac does IME, but I'm sure it does it better (I use/like the Dvorak layout, but my IME only does qwerty). Also, you can download JWPce (just google it), which is a annoying but definate way to get Kanji input. The annoying part is you're typing into the program then copying and pasting.

If you're comfortable editing your registry, http://blogs.msdn.com/michkap/archive/20...08853.aspx did the trick for me back when I used windows (I use colemak but the process is the same). Unfortunately it doesn't work with the office suite.
