I've been meaning to play this one for a little while, I might get to it after I'm done with FFXHD (the Japanese vita version, which means that I can play FFX on the toilet... a childhood's dream come true <3)
I own only the european version so I don't know about japanese and us ones.
But if you can play (and understand :-)) FFX in japanese, I guess you won't have many problems with Bravely Default...

Ah, great news, I don't own a japanese 3DS, and due to Nintendo's stupid policy on region lock... I might just get this game now =)

I do understand about 50% of FFX's dialogues, but since I've already played the game to death on my ps2 back in the days, that's cheating a bit Wink

So as I'm not so sure how I would fare in a completely unknown game, switching to english to learn at least the mechanics might be a good way to make the whole experience more enjoyable !
