This may have put people off answering sooner (it did me). Perhaps you could highlight the 1% you didn't understand? I would hesitate to claim better than that myself.

Otherwise, if you're interested in the Kanji Kentei or something, maybe try aiming for that? Up to around level 2 is what the typical (Japanese) person uses.

I would like a translation for this sentence:

I don't know what are the usages of 細かくなって and ため. I can't see how the first part of the sentence connects with 魚 and I can't seem to grasp the meaning of ため. I've learned that it represents purpose, but I can't reach a translation that makes sense.

I kind of understood that fish and animals that eat garbage became a global problem (?).

Now, he wants an English translation of this as well. Since I'm not a native speaker of English and generally suck at j-e translation, could someone help me out here?
I thought about something along the lines of "Enriching the city and the lives of its people through new/good relationships", but maybe that sounds a bit weird?

That's a good translation.

"relationship" has a slightly good connotation already, so I wouldn't say "good." If you want the meaning of good, you should say "strong relationships" instead. "Strong relationship" = relationship that is good or important. "New relationships" should be fine too.

Slogans sound like crap when they sound translated. They do it in Japan far too often and it always looks/sounds weird. Generally, translations suck and it doesn't matter because the Japanese people it's meant for won't usually understand it or even read it. So might as well use Google translate.

Your translation looks fine to me except it's just weird if it was English on it's own. I'd just write him a slogan that has a similar feeling and just forget the Japanese words he used. It's basically about strengthening the community by people coming together, supposedly at his restaurant, right? Why not something simple like "For a better community" or "Bringing people together". Something short and sweet?

idk "Bonding enriches your city and your life"? Slogans tend to sound stupid and cheesy though, no matter if they're translated or not, so it's a bit of a fool's errand.

"New relationships; strong community"? I dunno lol :/

Yeah, slogans do tend to sound like crap, so I think I'll just tell him to go for a simple one instead.
I tried to tell him in a nice way that "dude, you live in the middle of f*cking nowhere with absolutely no foreigners around... Why the English translation!?", but he was like "We want to make it international and cool".
Sigh...

Well, if that's the purpose, how about: "Lets enjoying our coffee in relaxing atmosphere"

"To know the joy of being a person (of being human)" is the most you can say without more context I think.
If it was a straight up statement ("I know...") then it would be ～知っている。

edit: could be "[I] learn/realize the joy of being human" as it is though.

なき is the 連体形 so it would modify a noun.
濁りなき瞳 = unclouded eyes, etc.

The way(=様) [it] sways and makes a sound somehow reminds me of you (lit. is somehow like you).
This 様 is さま (n. manner, appearance, etc) btw in case you mistook it for 様（よう）

Can someone please explain me the grammar in the following sentence (From League of Legends) :

I know it roughly means something like
"Your team is composed of randomly selected champions, and let's destroy the opponent's nexus"
Can anyone give a more accurate translation ?

why isn't it チームを編成するし　?
