I found this site http://kitsunekko.net/subtitles/japanese/ which contains the subtitles for the first 24 episodes of the Death note anime.

Are there somewhere on the web the missing episodes (37 episodes in total)?

I have tried to look for them, but I could not find anything.

well there's a manga and there is A SITE where somebody put up the manga online where they put up the scans AND wrote out all the text with the english on one side of the screen and japanese on the other side. somebody posted link on this forum but i don't know where. try searching. that should be good enough.
