Every day, I dedicate at least a few hours of my day to studying Japanese. A regular schedule for me is as follows...
- 30 minutes in the morning to review kanji/vocab
- learn new kanji in RTK (just going over the kanji not included in RTK 1st Edition)
- 45 new words in Core 2k
- reading NHK News Easy
- another batch of 45 words in Core 2k
- reading a lesson in Tae Kim
- reading stuff in Japanese, watching videos, etc.
I've only been studying Japanese for three months, mind you, but is there anything else I should be doing right now? I kind of feel like I'm going at a rather slow pace. Among my main questions are...
1.) When reading, should I be adding vocab that I don't know to Anki? Or is it just repetitive considering that I'm already doing Core 2k?
2.) Should I be using subs2srs? I've been eyeing this for a short while and I am also a fan of anime, but just how effective is it?
