American media with Japanese audio

#1
Could anyone point me in the right direction for downloading american movies/tv series' with japanese audio? I havent had much luck with torrent sites, but that's likely because i'm browsing in English Specifically, I'm looking for the X Files and Buffy The Vampire Slayer.

Thanks!

PS. I was a little hesitant to post this. But, as far as I can tell, I'm not breaking any forum rules. Apologies if I am wrong.

Sorry I don't know anywhere to get american media subbed in Japanese but you're possibly breaking the law:

For example discussion of D-Addicts is frequent here and thats not breaking the rules because all the content there is not licensed in western countries so its not really illegal to download it, but since you're in Japan looking for American media it may just be licensed in Japan and as such could be illegal to download...but everybody does it Wink

Good luck in your search

Don't know of any sites that you can download such things, as extra audio files get dumped to save bandwidth. And it's illegal, and more likely to actually be enforced by big US corps than smaller J-corps who don't have the resources to protect their property.

For DVD's, I might recommend looking at Book-Off--

English:
http://www.bookoff.co.jp/en/index.html
Japanese:
http://www.bookoffonline.co.jp/top/CSfTop.jsp

I've never mailordered from them, but their stores in Japan are usu. loaded with relatively cheap 2nd hand Western DVDs.

While we're on it, many Japanese TV stations have bilingual broadcasts-- my TV in Japan was bilngual. I could flip between E & J audio on movies. Has anyone heard of satellite TV outside Japan that's simliar-- I know NHK is available on some satellite setups?

Thanks for suggesting bookoff! I stopped by today and they had both Buffy and X Files!
