Japanese APP dictionary free for now

#1
I saw the excellent "Japanese" app can be downloaded for free for a short period of time.

It has a very good kanji scribble screen (much better than what comes in iOS and Android).

The software is quite slick and user friendly. The core dictionary and sentences are pretty good although more expensive dictionaries offer more. Verbs are conjugated although imiwa also has a neat method. The sample sentences are in kanji; click them and furigana (or romaji if you prefer) come up; my favorite part as it will force me to think a bit!

For free this is a no brainer. My friends thought it was a steal at $10.

Would you mind posting a link? There are so many results which come up when I search for "Japanese". Is it free for both iOS.and android?

It must be the one from 'renzo, Inc.'
It was the 4th result in the iOS app search, says it's free for Black Friday normally $9.99.

Japanese ( by Renzo) is the APP as Chris noted. Apologies for the confusion.

The very good IMIWA app just added RTK 6th edition reference numbers for kanji. That is super useful as one just types or draws the kanji and the RTK reference number is displayed.

Fast and easy.

How do you draw the Kanji in IMIWA? I use the app midori to do that. I can't find it in the IMIWA app.

Also the app OP stated looks identical to midori. Its price is 7.99 right now.

Imiwa's conjugation presentation is absolutely fantastic and very useful; I use it every day.

Imiwa's dictionaries and sentences are fine but there are better options. This is not my first choice for definitions (but is my first choice for conjugations).

With imiwa, I either input the kana or use the rather terrible iPhone Chinese drawing app.

The "Japanese" app's kanji input screen is pretty good as I noted above.
