Hey guys, selling my Japanese study materials collection, take a look?

#1
Whew, I haven't been here in a long while. Haven't really reviewed since before I went to Japan, though I did pick it up again for a bit while I was living there.

Now I'm back in the US, after working in Nagoya for 3 years teaching English. I'm living happily with my girlfriend here in the states now, and don't expect to go back to Japan anytime soon.

Anyway, I'm saying goodbye to all my Japanese books, many of which I never properly cracked open. I'm not sure if anyone remembers me, but I had a good time here and successfully reviewed all the kanji, though because I wasn't living in Japan at the time, and wasn't well versed with a Japanese vocabulary, I never really put it together.

If this post is inappropriately placed, go ahead and move it, mods. I'd like someone to be able to take advantage of these materials rather than have them continue to sit in my closet, though, so I hope everyone takes a look. Smile

If you guys have any questions, I'll check back in here.

Thanks guys, and keep up your reviews! While I didn't know the words, the Kanji themselves and the stories I made for them here did stick with me, which is half the battle for finally learning those new words. Don't give up!

One small tip. USPS has a special media mail rate if your package is entirely books and education materials. It's got to be cheaper than what you are currently quoting because $33 would get you 70lbs of media mail.

Wow, thanks!

I was quoting the priority flat rate price, but Media Mail is so much cheaper.
I just spoke to a USPS representative and discussed all the possibilities and it looks like I can ship these guys out to anywhere in the US for about 20 dollars!

I'll definitely revise my auction to reflect this.

Unfortunately, I've been informed international services have changed over the past few years, and media mail is not an option, so I'm sorry to any international bidders that I can't use Media Mail on an international shipment.

Thanks for bringing to this my attention, Tokyostyle.

I Ebay'd a massive amount of stuff before I moved to Japan which was enough to cover like six months of (student) living expenses. I'm just happy to pass on some of what I learned. Smile

Good luck on your auction! It ends on the weekend so you should get a nice price on it!
