SPI and other test practice online for getting a JOB in japan

#1
I'm going to be taking this exam in january for a company and I never heard about it before. So I figured I'd throw up my quick 1 hour research on the interweb resources for material that can help you practice if you ever plan to get a job in japan. I suggest you independently look up information about the test itself.

thats my first resource if you have any others let me know thank you.

Never heard of that test. Why do you need to take it to get a job? Immigration changing their rules or something?

I've heard that some companies use tests as part of their hiring process for new grads. I wonder if they would bother using these with foreign hires though, even if they can take them. The requirements for hiring them are a bit different from new Japanese grads.

Yeah most companies employ SPI or some form of web test. There are plenty of books around.

are good enough preparation mostly.

Fast Japanese reading ability is the most important part, but foreigners often get let off the hook...

I have taken them a little but I guess that's because I applied through the Japanese system as a student here. It's just a matter of routine.
