I made audio files for reviewing vocabulary from JMdict/EDICT and Core 6000:
http://jptxt.net/advanced-vocabulary.m4a (378 MB, 18 hours)
http://jptxt.net/core-vocabulary.m4a (40 MB, 2 hours)
Both files have two parts. The first part is for words that consist of only hiragana, of both kanji and hiragana, or of a single kanji. The second part is for kanji compounds, and it also includes audio for the RTK keywords.
advanced-vocabulary.m4a only includes words that have a frequency rank between 30,000 and 150,000 for kanji compounds or between 30,000 and 300,000 for the other words, that had audio files hosted at JapanesePod101, and that I hadn't selected to review before. core-vocabulary.m4a only includes words that have an index between 2001 and 6000 and that have a frequency rank of over 3000.
I generated the files using scripts like the ones posted at http://jptxt.net/scripts.html.
Does anyone know other files like this? Audio Lesson Studio can be used to create files like this, but I haven't seen that many premade files created with it. I listened to VocabULearn audio lessons at one point, but they were too slow, and it was difficult to learn kanji compounds without seeing the kanji.
