that has been through at least Rtk1. Preferably has become fluent since then. I have to do an English project about heroes and I choose James Heisig basically because it was the first person to come to mind. So it would probably be questions about how his method helped you to get to where you are in Japanese (preferably fluent again) and how other methods didn't help. It will be awhile before I actually need to do this so just subscribe if you are interested. I'll cooperate. But I have to confess that I don't really think that RTK1 was key to fluency in the language. It's just an very preliminary step to literacy. Similar to learning the alphabet. In a way, though, it is crucial, since it is a great way to attack literacy. Literacy opens doors to bodacious input sources which can supply an inhuman variety of vocabulary, grammar, culture, etc.

Dr. Heisig is still a hero, though!
