As you can see, its all kanji. The furigana is suppose to make things easy but me being weird and slow with how i understand things, it actually throws me off the tones.

umm there's even furigana why are you putting in no effort. at least download the english trnaslation version and compare. it's naruto for god's sakes

I'm too lazy for a word by word translation, but I'll give you a summary.

Each country suffered great damage in the second ninja world war. The governmental power of the five great countries started to shake. On the borders the small coutnries that got drawn into the war continued to fight small battles. The long drawn out battles renewed the flames of war and led to the third great ninja world war. This war became an unheard of war of attrition, each country struggled with a lack of war resources. The Konoha (?) that were in one of the great countries were no exception, they forced their young boys to fight on the battle field to give their lives in vain.
