Which Extended Katakana Digraphs Should I Memorize?

#1
Hello, Everyone,

While I was studying my Kana, I discovered that there was a table of extended katakana digraphs that I had neglected to memorize. I am including a link to the article that I found:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Transcripti...katakana_2

I obviously intend to memorize these. However, I do not know which digraphs I should memorize. Could someone please tell me which Extended Katakana digraphs are currently in use, in Japan?

Thank you, in advance.

I wouldn't really learn these separately. If you know all of your katakana already, it shouldn't be too hard to guess. These come naturally as you encounter more katakana words.

The y, w, and v lines are worth memorizing (at least one item from each line anyway). The rest of the digraphs are self-evident, as are the rest of the y/w/v once you know one element from each of them.

All of the digraphs are in use. The old ヰ・ヱ characters aren't, that I've seen, so are only worth learning if you plan to read pre-WWII materials.
