Hey there,
so I know that this topic has been discussed numerous times already however I'm still a bit confused. I already know that according to JIS 2004 many non-jouyou kanji have been revised to use a unsimplified form of certain radicals (like the road radical) which often differs only by the addition or removal of a single stroke.
However now that I study those remaining jouyou kanji that aren't included in RTK1 I came across those unsimplified forms as well:
E.g.: 箸, 捗, 餌
The font that I use (and the Japanese online sources that I used) display those kanji with their unsimplified form and said Japanese sources list them as standard form. On the contrary jisho.org shows those kanji with their simplified form.
So what's going on here?
Haven't those 2010 jouyou-kanji just not been simplified yet or will they ever be?
It's quite confusing...
