Etymology Study Project

#1
I'm fascinated by kanji radicals and etymology, and I'm looking for kindred souls who share my curiosity or trying to get people more interested in learning it.

Today I learned that the 虫 in 独 and 触 is an abbreviation of 蜀 I found 8 kanji that use this element: 蜀獨觸囑濁燭躅髑 and I made mnemonics to remember them and posted them on my blog.

My blog:
kanjiradicals.blogspot.jp

Etymology sites I use:
kanjinetworks.com
chineseetymology.org
jigen.net
47news.jp/feature/47school/kanji/index.php

Other kanji research and mnemonics:
joyokanji.com
kanjidamage.com

My favorite dictionary:
alc.co.jp

Do you study Traditional Chinese Characters as well. Since Japanese kanji are derivatives.

OP, you should update your profile so your website is linked under your username in your avater. I don't feel like copying and pasting blaaaah.

edit: It's not exactly what you're looking for but perhaps you'd find this site interesting: http://kanjialive.com/
