It's been a long time since I've posted here, but I just found something cool and wanted to make sure that you were all aware of it.
iBunkos is a Japanese ebook reader for IOS that has access to the enormous Aozora Bunko library of free books. It formats the books really well, has drop box integration, and is frequently updated.
At any rate, todays update includes text2speech - the program reads the book out loud, highlighting the words as it reads. The voice quality is not natural, and would probably not make for great listening practice, but it makes difficult texts MUCH more readable.
Be sure to get ibunkos and not ibunko. I forget how much I payed, but it was not more than a few bucks and it was worth the money before this feature.
Also, your iphone language MUST be set to Japanese in order for the text2speech feature to work.
