1) Yes.
2) No.
3) Both.

Might be kind of a pain though for your purpose.

Thanks. I guess any OCR will have trouble with furigana which kinda rules it out for Conan - maybe I will give it a go on some novels though. Cheers!

Thank you so much for this killer tool. It made reading kanji intensive manga a breeze.

The only thing I would love to see is an ability to select an entire text and have the tool display each word similarly to what visual novel reading tools do.

Have you thought about including such feature somewhere in the future?

I can't find this on google play... Google gave me a 404 error when I followed a link in?

But that aside...could this be used on my PC, or is there an equivalent tool that could be? This looks like such an awesome tool. Unfortunately, I don't think it will work on my Galaxy S3 phone, and that's my only android device.

I got v2.4 onto my Kindle Fire, but when I open it and tap the logo as instructed, the options menu (the one that says 'Open' 'Settings' 'Close') flashes onscreen really quickly and disappears. Has anyone else had this experience??

● Added ability to lookup the next/previous words in the OCR'd text. Just tap the upper-right arrow buttons.

● Added customizable buttons to the left, right, top, and bottom edges. By default, these buttons are not mapped.

● Added option to set the action to take when the OCR Send button is pressed. By default, a list of send destinations will be displayed just like in previous versions. In my setup, I've set the Send key to always open the OCR Error Correction Editor instead.

● (Advanced) Added the known/todo word marker (looks at known_words.txt and todo_words.txt). See website for details.

● Added scroll amount option.

● EPWING feature now works with Android 5.0.

● Added a separate .apk for devices based on the x86 architecture (untested). Only affects the EPWING feature.

This is a really useful app. How difficult is it in the android world to make an ocr like this that could be used over any app, like how fb messenger works, where it hovers but you could highlight text in any app?

Not sure. It might be possible for rooted devices.
