Combination of kanji town and rtk2

#1
Hi. I was thinking that perhaps it could be possible to combine the good things about the kanji town and the rtk2. The ideas was to study the kanjis that be long to the pure, and semipuregroups with the rtk2 methodolgy. And then, we apply the the kanji town or the movie method to the remining kanji, but only to the kanji that belong to the first thousand kanji, according to the ko2001. That way, i think that we cover not all, but most of the kanji. I have yet to calculate How much kanji are covered with This methodolgy. I. Think i could try and see How it works. I would like to hear your opinion. I am now studing vocabulary with kore, and thought that it would be great to be able to read.
Thanks in advance.

Learning ONYOMI is useful in Chinese, but in Japanese I found it to be a waste of time, because some kanji have too many ONYOMI and you never know which one belongs to which word. Then, you get words like 建物 that use Kunyomi reading instead of the ONyomi, or worse than that, words like 大人 that have the original japanese word glued on top of the chinese writing.
The best option for me was to learn the readings word for word, which is not totally foolproof because of words like 今日, 風 or 他 that have different readings in different contexts.

Now, learning the ONYOMI have some uses, for example if your dictionaries only let you search by japanese pronounciation, as otherwise it would be very hard to use them, but besides that, you'll be more productive learning the ON readings on the fly.
