Invalid's Japanese sentence collection book

#1
I put in a lot of work to make these downloadable sentence books. Each book ranges from 300-390 pages a piece. I personally use these to practice my reading and writing while gaining new vocabulary.

I hope you find it helpful in your language study.

When I get some time I'll make more, but this should be enough for most people.

I personally find writing the sentences helps me find words I don't know. For the stroke order, I go to jisho.org and search for the Japanese meaning. After I find the proper match, I click on "Kanji Details" to get the stroke order.

I'm writing Kana and Kanji faster and more cleanly every day. The first day took almost 2 hours or so just to write maybe 5 sentences. Fast forward to a few days later and I can now write maybe 17 or 18 in the same amount of time.

The Printable core 2000 vocabulary list thread has links to similar PDFs, but they use a more compact format with furigana:

The link that you posted only list one sentence per word and only covers 2k. Although a very good resource, the books that I posted contain multiple sentences for most words and covers core1k, core2k, and core3k.

It was designed to be as compact as possible in order not to waste paper, with 10 entries on every page. I thought multiple sentences would probably be overkill for a printed copy anyway. It does cover the entire 6k by the way. Unfortunately there are some typographic errors that I wasn't able to fix.

Anyway, everyone has different needs and preferences; the availability of various choices is very welcome. ご苦労さま!

I downloaded the material my self. Again, it's very good and I wasn't aware of it's existence until now. I do like having more than one sentence and I appreciate all the efforts of this community to distil resources into optimized study material. ご苦労さま
