This weekend's Evo is being commentated in Japanese in addition to their English commentation. If you enjoy fighting games or tournaments you probably already know about Evo. That being said if you're also studying Japanese this could be a fun way to spend your weekend immersing yourself.

I tried watching live on nico douga yesterday, but I got kicked out within 15 seconds due to congestion several times T_T

Sucks to hear that. I wish we could import the commentation to the Twitch stream. :\

And the times that I have tried watching, it's been the same as on Twitch, in other words, English commentating, so I'm a bit confused on that point as well :/

I heard some Japanese guy talking over the English commentary for like a minute then he stopped. Then my seat was given to a premium member and my stream stopped. Nico Douga really blows huh, haha.

Well, at least ニコ生 kind of sucks if you're looking at popular streams without being a premium member.
