There's a free collection of Japanese sentences on Github. The collection resembles the iknow.jp/smart.fm core-1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10k courses.

If you have a tablet, a document viewer can break it up into pages that you can bookmark. Each word of focus has 3 spaces on either side of it and you can get the stroke order from Jisho.org (http://jisho.org/words/?jap=asobi&eng=&dict=edict)

It is actually based on the Core 6000 data, or the newer version from after Smart.fm changed to iKnow.

https://github.com/runexec/cljp/tree/mas...urces/json contains the JSON files that were used as the source. The Printable Core 6000 vocabulary list thread has links to similar JSON files, and it also includes a TSV file with furigana and DDL links for the audio files.

"Core 10k" was never a Smart.fm or iKnow course, but it's what people are calling the data from the Japanese Sensei Deluxe iPhone app.
